Kids Art Ckasses  - Art With Andy

Andy has worked as a professional artist for more than a decade now. Having daughters, they enjoy sharing this love of art with the next generation.

Andy's Whangaparaoa based classes offer guidance and support while encouraging kids to follow their passions and styles.

Classes cover the basics of making art from a range of media including:

- Pencil sketch
- Charcoal
- Collage
- Acrylic painting
- Water-colour painting
- As well as up-cycling, where we turn trash into treasures.

These classes are aimed at children from Years 5 to 8 However, if your child is a different age, has a specific talent they want to work on, or would like private lessons don't hesitate to inquire.

As we work on new projects weekly, there is the option for children to join the classes mid-term.

​​

The class is limited to 15 kids, is run by Andy, and is supported by a second tutor, Waiata, to ensure kids have one-on-one support if they need it.

​

Classes are based out of the Future Whangaparaoa Trust space in the Coast Plaza. The plaza is off Main Street via Whangaparaoa Road.

​

There is parking under the mall, opposite the plaza, and the room we use is to the left of the escalator on your way in. 

​

The price for the Thursday 3:30 - 4:45pm session is $20 per child per week (to be paid in advance to cover the term).
